Ever since the start of the quarantine, Paul and I have been finding ways on how to keep our twins busy. Of course keeping them busy is easy but we want to do it the right way and that is to allow them to also develop a new skill or to learn something new. Since they can't go to pre-school yet because of the current situation, we took it upon ourselves to be the first teachers of our kids in hopes that somehow, we are prepping them to be ready for formal schooling when the pandemic ends and it's safe for everyone to go out again. I'm usually super busy with work during the weekday so I rely on Paul and my mom to help teach the twins while I deal with calls and my daily workload. However, I try my best to make it up to them during the weekend by giving them my full, undivided attention. On one of the those weekends, I received a package from Zoeily Cookies   and I was so excited! They sent us a ready DIY cookie kit and I know this will get the twins super excited. ...

Tomorrow, the Philippines will celebrate National Heroes' Day to commemorate all the brave men and women who fought hard for our country's freedom more than a century ago. However, I believe that this day is also the perfect opportunity to look deeper and to give importance to countless Filipinos who have made their own personal sacrifices to make things better. True, no blood had to be shed but more of sweat and tears just to be able to make their families live a better life and to help our nation in general too. I'm talking about our modern-day heroes -- the Overseas Filipino Workers a.k.a. the OFW . They are based all over the world from Hong Kong to Singapore, as far as the Middle East and even in some part of Europe and the United States too. Living here in Singapore where more than 300,000 Filipinos are present, I've heard countless stories from fellow OFWs, all unique on its own way, on why did they choose to work here. No matter how different one's story ...

So this is what curiosity can do to you! Inspired by a couple of Youtube videos and an Instagram photo of a friend, I decided to take the challenge and to do the Koala Shake ! So, first thing was to head to the nearest grocery and to get a box of Lotte Koala's March Chocolate Snack . For those who are not familiar with this, these are crackers filled with gooey chocolate! See more funny videos and TBT Videos at Today's Big Thing . When we were kids, my mom would tell me that I have to be a marshmallow kid . She didn't mean that I have to be soft, sweet and fluffy instead she was trying to tell me to learn to be more patient which eventually will improve my EQ. I have always been the impatient type, wanting to get things right away. I guess I have to learn a thing or two from these cute little ones. I remember the day when I bought my first pair of Havaianas . It was a laid-back Saturday back in 2005 wherein I was leisurely strolling around The Podium Mall . With no where else to go, I decided to check out this sports retail shop that carries brands like Roxy, Quicksilver and Havaianas . After scanning through the rack, my eyes zeroed in on this cute pair of baby blue flipflops that has a thicker sole giving me more height. It didn't took me that long to decide that I wanted this pair of flipflops! I didn't even bother returning it to the box. Instead, I requested the sales clerk to box in my worn out shopping sandals as I will be wearing my new pair of flipflops. Finally the secret is out! Last month, my sister and I were invited by fellow bloggers Jane and her daughter Christa to join the shoot of the Ako ang Simula MTV . Initially, I thought we were just allowed to cover the shoot and eventually to blog about it, little did I know that we will actually be part of the video. This video is ABS-CBN's campaign for the upcoming elections. My sister and I truly believe in the power of one's vote and how we can make things happen. We are officially ten months away from our big day and luckily, I still don't feel the pressure or stress that I have been bracing myself for since we started planning. I guess being connected to technology makes a huge difference. It was so easy for me to email my prospective suppliers, coordinate with my wedding planner, browse through sites after sites to get bridal gown ideas and even visit quite a number of YouTube pages to check out unique and funny wedding program videos. I know as the Big Day nears, I will start to feel the jitters and I look forward to the support and comfort that I will get from my friends online.
