While waiting in line at the mall this afternoon, my colleague reminded me that we have 18 days left before Christmas. I gave her a frightened look and told her that I am not yet done with my Christmas shopping and this has been stressing me out for two weekends already. She, on the other hand, was still thinking of her Noche Buena menu. Noche Buena is a truly Filipino tradition where the family gathers around the dining room after coming home from the Christmas mass and feasts on sweet ham, fruit salad and more! As I try to throw in some suggestions that my colleague can include in her menu, I remembered that delicious slices of cakes that I was treated to by Red Ribbon last week.
