For those who have been following me on Instagram , you might have noticed that I would regularly use a certain hashtag called #frannymeday mostly on Saturdays. You see, Paul has work every Saturday which means I am all alone for most part of the day. Normally, I would just spend a couple of hours in the gym, grab a quick bite and run some errands while waiting for him to get off from work. I have to admit though that doing this for a couple of years now, it can get a bit lonely and the wait till his work ends can sometimes feel like forever. I'm lucky to have a couple of sweet girl friends here in Singapore who willingly offer to be my Saturday date to keep me company. Leading the #squad is my college friend T. She and her husband moved to the Lion City a few years before Paul and I did and we would go out for lunch dates once in a while since our offices are near each other. Lately, she has also been my favorite companion for weekend blog events or just whenever we feel the ...

Make no compromises! 8 wonderful days have passed and I got a total of 53 awesome answers to the question: What is that one thing that you will never compromise when it comes to dining out? I really enjoyed reading through all of the answers and in the process realized that each of us takes dining out seriously and that each one of us have our own rules that will ensure each dining experience to be stress-free and worthwhile. I guess it's no secret how much I love to dine out! In fact this is probably one of the main reasons for this blog's existence. Trying out different cuisines and immersing myself into the different themes and feel of each restaurant is always something that I look forward to at least every weekend. From the formal restaurants to the fun and hip diners, I am game to try out their best-selling dishes and to take my taste buds into a new foodie adventure! However, if there's one thing that I expect each restaurant to have -- that would be to be able to provide the best service possible to its customers. Working for a coffee shop for more than two years showed me how we should treat our customers. Sanitary was of course the top priority. Here, I learned that we shouldn't put anything that has food (not even a plastic bag) on the floor. We take great care in checking the best before tags and most of all, we try our very best to give each and every customer the most amazing ...

My friend Sab and I went to the same high school and even attended the same organization then but it's funny that we only really came to know each other and became close via the Internet last year. She's a fellow blogger who shares stories about her exciting family life. Photos of her cute little ones never fail to make someone go "awwww" . blogger Sab at work I guess it's because of our many similarities that made us click. First is our love for the color pink in fact, both of our cameras are of a similar shade of metallic pink. We both love cream-based pasta and can easily agree on which restaurant to meet up due to our similar taste in food. We love getting manicure and pedicure treatments which was actually where we first bonded together with cute little Sophie. Lastly, the loves of our lives both share the same last name so pretty soon, like her, I will also be a Mrs. Ang! After going through the crazy holiday season of never-ending dinner outs and Christm...
