Are you a blogger? Do you aspire to be one? Here's one event that you shouldn't miss then! Nuffnang Philippines is conducting their first ever Blogopolis which is a full-day workshop for bloggers by bloggers. The day will begin an opening speech and industry overview from Nuffnang Philippines' Country Manager Mr. Yugatech himself, Abe Olandres . This will be followed by discussions to be led by the country's top media personalities such as Maria Resaa and Manuel L. Quezon III. *starstrucked!* What follows next are sessions led by fellow bloggers such as Divine Lee, Liam Capati and our very own top bloggers too (hooray Tita Noemi , Ivan H. and the cool guys from Googly Gooeys !) . Well, if there's one segment that you shouldn't miss it would be at 11AM where I will be joining Divine Lee as one of her panelists where she will talk about Community Building : How to engage and interact with your Audience . “Ang puti mo!” (You're so fair!) This is the common reaction that I would hear from relatives and friends of my parents whenever they see me. Growing up, I would always take this comment negatively and would strive my best to get a tan. From the daily swimming lessons to the frequent walks under the sun, I would try in vain to get a darker skin color. Back in college, it would just be regular washing using a facial wash and warm water. No moisturizers, no toners, no creams. I was just 18 then and my skin was luckily very cooperative given the lack of attention that I give to it. That has all changed when I turned 20. Then just recently, we were once again invited to have an intimate dinner with a couple of fellow bloggers to welcome their talented (and very young) founders, Tim Tiah and Cheo Ming Shen to the Philippines! It was hosted by Nuffnang Philippines' director Jay Singson and his lovely wife Joy. The venue was marvelous, I was amazed the moment I stepped inside their lovely home. It reminds me of those beautiful homes we feature in Real Living Magazine . The evening began with an exclusive pizza making class by Chef Heny Sison .I guess I was really chef-strucked as I used to watch her show a couple of years ago. I love pizza and I was really excited to learn how to make my very own homemade pizza! First, we began working with the dough. Who would have thought that you add beer to add more flavor to the pizza crust? Che...
