Teppanyaki Hamburg Nihonbashi Keisuke Bettei opens at Peck Seah Street #hamburgkeisuke

There's a new kid in town today! After treating our taste buds to all sorts of delicious ramen creations and some to-die-for gyozas too, Chef Keisuke Takeda  is back with a brand new concept and this time burger or beef lovers will surely rejoice! Teppanyaki Hamburg Nihonbashi Keisuke Bettei  offers two set meals only and even with just these two, it will really be hard to choose which one to go for. The restaurant will specialize on freshly ground and formed a la minute US Prime Beef Patties served with a piece of deliciously deep-fried ebi fry, grilled tofu, miso soup, rice and the best part -- an unlimited trip to the salad bar plus the egg station!

Get Crabby : Ramen Keisuke Kani King at Orchard Cineleisure

Chef Keisuke did it again!  After winning our hearts with his mouth-watering ramen varieties , gyoza rice sets and the best tendon in town , he's currently on a roll opening two new ramen stores one after the other. The first specializes in ramen with lobster broth which I heard is pretty good. There's always a long queue as the it's strategically located in Clarke Quay thus catering to the party-going, late night crowd. I should schedule a visit to that outlet soon but I'll probably let the queue die down or go at a very off-peak time. Meanwhile, Paul and I decided to try his second outlet, Ramen Keisuke Kani King  which is located at the ground floor of Orchard Cineleisure in Somerset. It just so happen that we were in the area one Saturday so we decided to go check it out. Luckily, we got there when the queue was still very short so it only took us 20 minutes waiting time. Don't worry though as the system is very efficient but you just have to make sure t...

The Tempura King : Tendon Ginza Itsuki along Tanjong Pagar Road

For the past few days, I find myself craving for ebi tempura . I know it's not the healthiest food on earth but come on, sometimes, you just have to give in to your heart's desire. Add to the fact that Paul and I are busy researching about our upcoming trip to Tokyo which in effect is giving us visions of fresh sushi rolls, perfectly grilled yakitoris, mouthwatering omurice and to-die-for ebi tempura! (By the way, should you have Tokyo food recommendations, please share them with me below! Thank you!) ♥ While dreaming about ebi tempura, I suddenly remembered the time when D and I met up with our former colleague, R. We decided to check out the then newly-opened Tendon Ginza Itsuki  which is owned by our favorite ramen chef, Kaisuke Takeda . He also owns Keisuke Tori King in 100AM, Tonkotsu King Four Seasons in Bugis and my other favorite, Gyoza King in Orchid Hotel. Just recently, he also opened Ramen Keisuke Lobster King  in Clarke Quay which I have yet to visit....

Someday I wish to meet Chef Keisuke Takeda and when that moment comes, I'll tell him that I'm such a big fan and I think that he's such a foodie genius. You see, Chef Keisuke has opened a total of 6 different restaurant concepts here in Singapore and I was able to try half of it already. The first was purely accidental. I was really new here and with my birthday coming up, I just made a quick research on where's the newest ramen shop in town. This brought me to Ramen Keisuke Tonkotsu King Four Seasons  that was the first time that the NKids have ever tried this restaurant and we all loved it! In fact, this particular branch has been on top of our list when it comes to saying where's the best ramen in Singapore. Then, on the first day in our new office, my colleagues and I tried Ramen Keisuke Tori King . I never thought I'll ever like Chicken Ramen as I would imagine it to be served like a Chicken Macaroni Soup. Safe, bland and boring. Well, to say that Chef ...

Ramen Keisuke Tori King at 100AM, Tanjong Pagar

A lot of happy changes in both my personal and professional lives happened as soon as the 2nd half of 2014 rolled in and it has just been 10 days since. Call it good feng shui but I'd like to think that all these blessings have something to do with our moving to a new office. True, saying goodbye is never easy but I am the kind who try my darnest to welcome change with open arms. So, on our first week at the new office, we began exploring for new food finds. Our first stop was over at 100AM where we found  Ramen Keisuke Tori King . We're all no strangers to the Keisuke line of ramen shops. I've mentioned a number of times how much I love the Ramen Kaisuke Four Seasons in Bugis and when my colleague R mentioned that Chef Keisuke Takeda has opened a chicken broth ramen that's just a stone's throw away from our new office, our lunch group gamely went to try it out. I got to admit though that as we were standing outside and waiting for our table to be ready, I ...

♫ It's my birthday and I'll eat ramen when I want to...eat ramen when I want to...eat ramen when I wantttt toooo! ♫ I officially turned a year older last Saturday..and you know what?! It was one of my happiest birthdays ever! It all began when I woke up with a big smile on my face and as I checked my phone, there were about 40+ greetings from friends and relatives back home. Wow! Paul and I agreed to meet up for lunch with some of our good friends here in the Lion City . Thinking of a place for my birthday lunch was such a challenge! Not that Singapore has a shortage of good food but it's the other way around. There were just a LOT that it was so hard to choose. Why do we have to limit ourselves to just 3 big meals a day? Whyyyy? Anyway, after a thorough research thanks to the local food blogs here, I finally found THE ONE. Meet Ramen Keisuke Tonkotsu King Four Seasons . It's a new ramen shop located at the heart of the Bugis district. It's owned by Chef K...
