Foodie Finds at the MaARTe at the Pen (Year 2)

Image
Last Friday, Paul and I went on a Mommy and Daddy date. Thankfully, we were able to drop the twins off at my in laws who willingly watched over them while we went around town to do our errands. On our way home, Paul and I decided to drop by The Peninsula Manila as we remembered that it was the opening day of our friend G's MaArte at the Pen . We've been wanting to go since last year but as I was already asked to be on house arrest about this time last year as I was already on my last trimester with my twins then thus I had to wait one whole year to be able to check it out. Luckily, I was pretty confident that he'll enjoy checking this year's fair out with me as they got a section dedicated just for men. ...

Shopping Finds : Muji 3-layer Bookshelf

From Bangkok to Singapore, we enjoyed joining through the different trinkets and food products that I love to bring home with me. Last year, Muji finally opened its door in Manila! Located at the Bonifacio High Street , Muji is located at the 2nd level of Gap. Paul and I wasted no time and off we went to check Muji Manila out. It was perfect timing that we were fixing up our new rooms and we surely have a lot o...

Since Paul and I are starting to plan for our new room, we are now getting into the habit of checking out various home stores to get more ideas on how to decorate our room. First step was to determine our color theme. Taking the advise of my colleague and Real Living Magazine's Editor-in-Chief Rach, we browsed through a handful of home books starting off with our very own Color Book that we launched last year. Finally, Paul and I found THE ONE. We both agreed that our room will make use of neutral colors (beige, brown and white) with a hint of old rose here and there. From there, we began to scour around for decors and items that we will be needing to complete our room. One afternoon, I decided to drop by the Regalong Pambahay Outlet Store which was located just two blocks away from my office. It was also timely that I had to buy a gift for a dear friend's wedding and so I thought visiting this store would be a great idea. Inside, the feel was very Filipiniana/Asi...
