Top 10 Siopao in Manila

Image
Two weekends ago, Paul and I went siopao-crazy as we tasted more than 10 steaming-hot siopaos in two days! From our neighborhood favorites to those recommended by friends and fellow bloggers, we drove around the metro trying one siopao after the other. He loves the asado kind while I still prefer the ones with huge juicy pork meatballs inside. We each have our own way of enjoying the siopao but in the end we both agree on who has the BEST siopao in town . Once again, this is based on our taste thus our choices may differ from yours. Nonetheless, I'm proud to present to you my ... Top 10 Siopao in Manila Happy munching! :) photo by: Paul Ang

However, after giving it much thought, I've decided to accept this challenge knowing that the end result would make it easier for you, my readers, to navigate through this site. Finally, I've succeeded and I proudly present to you my growing... Restaurant List Enjoy! :) p.s. Making it to the List

This morning, I opened my Plurk page and browsed through the unread messages that were posted by my fellow plurkers . One specific message caught my eye which led me to the official website of the Philippine Blog Awards . I can't believe it has been a year since the last awards night where Paul and I went to 1 Esplanade to applaud the winners and mingle with our fellow bloggers. Indeed, it was a fun night. I can't believe we're a week away from this year's awards night and boy am I excited! What makes this year's awards night more exciting is because of this latest development.... Frannywanny.com is one of the finalists under the Food and Beverage blog category Yahoooo!!! Another reason to celebrate! See you all on October 9 for the Philippine Blog Awards !!

Are you a Starbuck-oholic?

Image
Driving to work this morning, I passed by a Starbucks store and did the unthinkable. I was surprised with what I did that it got me thinking that I must be really addicted to the Green Siren . Admittedly, I've been a fan since it first opened in Greenhills ten years ago, I've tried most of its food items and can even name all of its drinks even with my eyes closed. Come Christmas time, I make it a point to pay the store across my University a daily visit until I can finally claim my planner. Yep, I was and still am a HUGE fan. How about you? Are you a Starbuck-oholic too? Here's my list to tell if you are: 1) You can remember the drinks that came and went throughout your growing Starbucks years. (remember, Rhumba Frappuccino, Banana Cream and Mocha Valencia?) 2) You're aware of the different promotions that happen year-round: Summer, Coffee Heritage, Christmas and Tea Lattes (which happens after Christmas) 3) You know the difference of the baristas in green vs those in...
