Where every special milestone in your life is being celebrated by hundreds or thousands of people that's connected to you Whatever platform it may be, everyone in your network gets to witness you falling in love, getting into a relationship, being engaged and getting married. Later on, these people will also be the "first" to have a glimpse of your babies too. Social media has proven how it can reconnect lives. I personally was able to touch base with friends whom I haven't spoken to in more than a decade. Off I go again! For the next four days, I'll take another break as I go incommunicado to a not-so-far-away-land for a short business trip. Here,  I look forward to enjoying the majestic structures that has been standing for centuries, to indulge in the richest and yummiest food and to somehow reconnect with my roots. Yes, I'm flying off to Beijing, China and believe it or not, it will actually be my first trip abroad that I'll be on my own. No Paul, no family, no friends or colleagues to be with me. I'll surely miss Paul as he would automatically hold my hand as the plane takes off and lands on the ground. How he would take care of packing our bags and carry all of them while leaving the lightest baggage for me to pull around. How I wish he'll be there to experience Beijing with me. AFC's Next Celebrity Chef Do you love to cook? Do you have what it takes to be a celebrity chef? Don't you sometimes wish you can be anywhere in the world with just a blink of an eye? How about with just a couple of slurps and a few clicks? Before you think I might be going crazy, I came across this interesting photo contest brought by KFC where you may submit your most creative photo of you and your friends posing anywhere in the Philippines that resembles that one place that you would like to go to.
