We all just got back from our respective trips abroad ... one came back from her exciting F1 trip in Singapore, another gave birth to her second baby after staying in Canada for 8 long months and I'm still experiencing a major hangover from my Uniquely Singapore Trip . Thus, despite the fact that Metro Manila was declared to be under typhoon signal #3 this didn't stop us from meeting up for a relaxing night with good food and a wonderful company. It was a unanimous decision to meet at Arya Persian Restaurant that evening with both friends declaring how much they love Arya and I just couldn't agree more. I love Arya's lamb dishes and the moment the menu was handed to me, I knew right away which page to flip to. It was a toss between the Bareh Koobideh and the Bareh Shish . I would also have wanted to try the spicy Lamb Biryani but since I was coughing that night, I opted to just skip the spicy dishes so as not to worsen my poor sore throat. Our favorite Ice Age friends are back in the wide screen and this time, they're in 3D! Unfortunately, Didi and Chris couldn't make it this week but this didn't stop me, Paul and Jane from meeting up in Trinoma as they launch the newest Digital 3D Cinema . As we entered the cinema, we were given a pair of plastic glasses which we all have to wear to see the special effects on screen. At first, I found wearing the glasses a bit uncomfortable because of my bad eyesight and the fact that the glasses was too big for my face that it kept on sliding down every so often. It all began one night at a casual Italian restaurant in Ortigas where four girl blog gers (and a super game, cheese-loving guy *peace Chris! hehe* ) agreed to meet up to finally attach a face to the names often seen in the blogosphere. Since then, they would go around town trying out new restaurants and at times inviting more common friends to join them. Over good food and a million stories shared back and forth, the Thursday Club was born. Every other Thursday, the group will meet in a different restaurant chosen by one of the members. This week it was Didi's turn and to satisfy our pizza craving, we chose to dine at Pizzeria Toscana .
