Holiday Lunch at The Waterfall in Shangri-la Singapore

One fine day, Paul and I decided to head over to one of our favourite hotels here in the Lion City, Shangri-la Singapore , for a classy lunch. This came a few weeks after that relaxing weekend staycation that we had and since we failed to have breakfast at The Waterfall , we then make sure not to miss out on this opportunity to have lunch there instead. If you still remember, we had our 4th Anniversary dinner at The Waterfall where the Chef was sweet to create a special dinner menu just for us. We went there a few weeks before Christmas so they actually have a holiday-themed antipasti buffet set-up for lunch that day. Don't expect a very wide spread but I can assure you that you're in for a treat as everything was definitely of top quality and I was so impressed with the different combinations that the Chef was able to come up with. The Waterfall at Shangri-la Hotel, Singapore

After checking in and enjoying a slice of cake in our room , Paul and I then proceeded to get ready for dinner at The Waterfall which is located near the pool area between the Garden and Tower Wing. It was drizzling a bit but we didn't worry as all three wings are connected either via a covered walkway or through the main lobby. It's amazing though that despite how they are adjacent to one another you get to feel like you enter a different world as you go through the Garden, Tower and the Valley Wings. We were ushered to our table by the corner where it was quiet and very private. I was so touched to see a piece of long-stemmed rose on my side of the table too. Of course, Paul took the opportunity to pick it up and handed it to me as if it was his idea all along. Haha! That's fine Hun, it was indeed the thought that counts. ♥  First things first, a glass of bubbly each to celebrate another milestone in our (love) life.
